The Tomb of Sultan II. Selim, one of the most beautiful tomb in Istanbul, was built by Mimar Sinan. Blue floral tile panels were placed on both sides of the entrance door. This Iznik tile panel is one of them. The original panel is at the “Arts of Islam” section of Louvre Museum.
